Feels nice and light and cool on the head thanks to the ventilation, and just has a unique vibe that doesn’t shy away from being sun safe
Excellent coverage to protect from sun for outdoor work. Stays firm in high winds, especially important when sailing.
Love my mullet cap. The material is lightweight and very comfortable. It's obviously great sun protection but I also like wearing it when the flies are bad. It keeps them away from buzzing right in my ear.
The cap is good. But disappointed that it was made in China. Hope you can explore other manufacturers.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We work with carefully vetted manufacturing partners chosen for their specific capabilities and quality standards, and all Shade Caps are locally embroidery here in Melbourne. We will continue exploring ways to evolve our manufacturing as the brand grows.
Independently Tested and Certified
Every Sun Ray fabric is lab-tested by ARPANSA; the Australian government's radiation authority.
ARPANSA measures how much ultraviolet radiation penetrates the fabric. Only materials proven to block at least 98% of UV rays earn a UPF50+ rating.
UPF50+ is the highest level of protection under Australian standards.
Sun Ray fabrics are rated UPF 50+ in accordance with Australian standard AS4399:2020.
