With UPF50+ being the highest possible rating, the 'Mullet Brimmer' hat shields you from 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. In comparison, a standard white cotton tee has a UPF rating of around 5.
Certified UPF50+ by the Australian Government body ARPANSA, the highest possible sun protection rating available.
Made from 90% polyester, 10% spandex.

Sizing information:
Available in 2 sizes (1-3 and 3-6 years), with adjustable drawcord and back toggle. Chin strap with lock in toggle to keep it secure.

ARPANSA measures how much ultraviolet radiation penetrates the fabric. Only materials proven to block at least 98% of UV rays earn a UPF50+ rating.

Sun Ray fabrics are rated UPF 50+ in accordance with Australian standard AS4399:2020.
Kids actually wear it! Quality ok
First outing my mate commented on it and said that’s the next hat they’re going to get. Great hat. Dries quickly and I like that there’s no gap around the cheek/ears to get burnt.
We got kids sun shirts for Christmas, and they have been wearing them 5 days a week since! Such great light shirts for warm summer days in the sun.

Just purchased this hat for our 14 month old who loves the beach and being outdoors. High quality fabric, easy to adjust the size, good protection across the face, ears and shoulders. Overall this is an epic hat that I will be purchasing again and gifting to friends. Worth the investment.
I bought this for my 1.5 year old son and he loves it and puts it on himself whenever its time to go outside. It's adjustable in size, breathable and light weight. Such a great amount of coverage to protect him from the sun. It's nice to know he won't get sun burnt since its always such a pain putting sunscreen on his face and neck. I bought a second one to gift to a friends child!
Obsessed, obsessed, obsessed!! I initially bought the green kids shirt for my son and loved it so much I went back for another!! I also bought the mullet hat for my son and husband (excellent and get asked everywhere where I got it from) and the spf 50 shirt for me!
My only tip is spray any marks before washing (but that’s standard for lil ones clothing).
This top has been sooooo handy. I hate putting sunscreen on my children, so my 5 year old wore this top on all his summer adventures!

I love the colour and the fit. It sits quite well on my almost 12m old baby, and love how well it protects her from the sun. My only issue is that she's at at that age where she pulls her hat off all the time and the cord, the cord comes off so easily... It really defeats the point for her age to have something that's sun safe and that stays on. It's really at that point I'm going to have to sew a permanent cord because the cord is so flimsy, it becomes undone all the time. No wonder why they sell a replacement cord, because it easily gets pulled off and probably gets lost. It also annoys me that the hat is on the higher end of the price range, which I was happy to pay and this tiny cord is just not doing it for me. It needs a better design, at least for that size range.

The quick-release cord on our kids' hats is a deliberate safety feature, it's designed to release easily to prevent any choking risk. It's been tested to secure the hat in wind while still releasing safely if needed.

My son is 9 months and about to start walking, this hat has been great for him. Gives great sun protection, is light weight, dries quickly and washes well. The adjustable band in the cap means it will fit him for quite sometime too so I’m not constantly replacing it.
Perfect hat for my toddler. Dries quickly and doesn’t flop when it gets wet. And he doesn’t pull it off!
Light fabric and nice colour. Will be great to throw over to protect my toddlers skin at the park and beach without making him overheat. A bit on the smaller size so have exchanged for the next size up to get more wear out of them. Prompt reply with exchange, thanks! Will buy more.

Absolutely love the design of this hat! Including the quick release chin strap. Very protective from the sun and super cute on my little one. He was smitten with his new hat. The only issue is it marks easily from general wear, things like oily sunscreen and general kids play, possibly due to the colour, but i haven't yet tried washing it, so not sure if it will come out easily. We still love the hat and will be buying the green when it's back in stock!

Brilliant designed hat but I wish I'd read the reviews about it running small. My daughter is 11 months and this hat fits her now ... no way will it last until 3years, probably won't even last until next summer. With the handy adjustable drawstring feature I should have just got the 3-6 years!

This hat is great but runs small. I bought the 3-6 years for my 4.5 year old and it just fits. Definitely won't fit for long. We love it though. The team should adjust the size descriptions and make a run of a larger sizes (I would repurchase!!!)

Fabulous kids hat - lightweight and cool (in every respect) to wear!
Great quality love the wide brim and long neck combo. And that you can detach the neck strap (he hates them!) My son has a large head though so not sure it will last long - I recommend sizing up
This is the only hat my toddler will wear! Love that it’s lightweight - doesn’t bother him and is easy to pack anywhere. Would definitely recommend

Wasn’t sure how I’d keep my baby covered and cool on an overseas trip - this top is the perfect thing for babies too young or too wriggly for sunscreen. Easy to slip on and off, the fabric is silky and cool and the designs are beautiful
